If I left things like this?

Will like some Vai or JEM fanboi try to hunt me down?

Just wondering.

I hope Lee doesn't see this. It's the 2nd gtr he sent me that's now had it's electronics ripped out.

annnnnnnnnd of course you had to go there.
Ah I'm just messin around. I have Dimarzios too. Jems and Dimarzios are like peanut butter and jelly. Seriously as a guitar maker I find something so awesome looking about a guitar body with pickup routes in it. I think it looks totally cool with empty routes. I imagine it's exactly the same feeling as an auto mechanic/enthusiast looking at cars with the hoods open and finely polished and painted engines. That part doesn't really do you any good while driving the car. From inside you only see what's in front of you. Basically what I'm saying is that you're looking at a bunch of stuff that you can only look at when the car is NOT doing what it was designed to do. Same thing here.

I could never do it myself because I always have too many pickups, and too many pickup combinations I want to try out at any given time.

Of course it'd be wrong, it's not djenty or brutalbeardcore enough. You obviously need some Debris pickups in that thing. Also, is that a Sims body? I'm guessing so because the top isn't dropped

No idea. Better off asking Lee where he got it. One day it just happened to show up on my doorstep.

Err, Frank. I don't think too many on here are going to sympathize with your situation. :D

You're right though. Keeping the routes empty probably would work.

EDIT: It was just suggested, that I should get another clear pickguard. But only with the bridge and vol pot locations cut out. So everything else is still viewable, but will be behind the pickguard (other pickup cavities, tone pot, pickup selector, etc)
