Savage SE, or SE? They're different.
I've only played the Savage 120 (which I own), the Powerball, and Invader 150. I've never liked the Pball, and it's been too long since I played the Invader to remember it very well...other than remembering that it totally killed the Pball, but it was also shortly after I got my Savage 120, and I liked that more than the Invader.
The Herbert is cool when other people play it, but I don't like the way it feels to play...it's too liquid sounding/feeling...I felt like I could feel the pumping of the compression, and came away with the impression that it makes the Powerball sound open and dynamic (and I find the Pball to be extremely compressed). As far as German high-gainers go, I think I'll stick with my Savage 120 until I can afford a Larry Dino 939
