So I'm planning on buying a twelve string acoustic or spanish-style classical guitar in the near future. I don't know jack shit about this part of the guitar universe unfortunately, so guidance as to some good companies who make affordable guitars that aren't plywood would be greatly appreciated. Bonus points if yous dildoes cans talks likes Swisgaar when posting the things too.

I haven't tried any 12 strings, but I have played some very nice Breedloves lately. And the imports are great quality for the price too (I don't know what budget you are looking at).

Definitely going to try and swing a seagull for cheap. Apparently spanish nylons are more common that strats, since guitar center has over 100 of them used on their site. Probably going to nab one cheap and save up for the twelve string. Does anyone have experience with Yamaha's acoustic guitars?

as far as the classical try to see what you can find used locally. I got a very awesome classical in a trade for a epiphone les paul because a kid had no use for my first nylon and didn't know the quality of the late 60s/early 70s Tatay.

Used nylon string guitars, unless they are a bit higher end, seem to sell far below the $400 mark.

I have a Fender acoustic 12 string (MIK) my folks gave me as a high school graduation present in 1992, and although these seem to sell for dirt cheap on the used market it is a wonderful instrument. It has amazing volume and clarity. Don't sell these short as an option until you try one.
