Finished it yesterday and - again - enjoyed the hell out of it. Such a great show.
And agreed, I'd also be totally fine with them if they just let it end that way.

 

Really enjoyed season 2, probably not as much as the first but it was still fantastic. Small thing I noticed, was there a single car that didn't wheelspin as it pulled away in the entire season? I only started picking up on this about half way through but it certainly seemed to be the case. :lol:

 

I feel like the only people who drove were either Hopper or Billy the Dickhead, and given that the latter owned a bitchin' blue Firebird, it's not surprising

I know Wynona Ryder's character did in her awful looking green car, can't remember if Jonathan did in his rust bucket.

 

Oh shit, that's right cause with the Wynona shot they left the dirt on the camera from her wheelspin, which was pretty rad in my opinion

 

Finished S2 yesterday. I liked it, and if they do another season I think they set it up well enough.

 

They plan to do at least two more, but then its over. They stated they dont want it to drag and fall int oblivion, so they go out while they are still fresh and interesting... like all shows should end to be honest.

 

Liked season 2, but think season 1 was better. More mysterious and focused, less goofy stuff. Also, too many uninteresting subplots in season 2, IMO.

 

Biggest issue with S2 was a lack of more Mrs. Wheeler

Re-watching the First Season right now.

 

Wife and I just started watching this and are 3 episodes into season 1. We like it. :yesway:

 

I like Stranger Things, and the characters are mostly all likable and make it worth watching, but unfortunately after Season I they blew their shot at really making the overarching plot/mythos its own thing instead of a collection of references to other works.

Reading reviews it seems Season 3 sticks to the same formula. Still a fun show, but I was hoping it would really be able to break out into being its own thing conceptually.

 

Still loving the show, also S02 is glorious IMHO (though I get why people have troubles with it).
Super excited for S03!

 

My eldest has started watching this and got into it in a BIG way. She basically blew through season 1 this weekend and is on a mission to finish season 2 before the new series starts on Thursday

Wife and I just started season 2. Biggest shocker: Paul Reiser out of nowhere. :lol:

 

I just finished Season 3. It was pretty good. I liked it better than Season 2, but not as much as Season 1. Overall good stuff.
