Let Kiko Bless Your Soul:

1:21

I'll be honest. Besides a couple of things with Drover, I loved him in Megadeth. I think United Abominations was a solid metal album with Drover.

Of course, Kiko is at the top for Dave because he is currently in the band. However, he's contributed some great stuff and I still cannot believe he has a grammy. <3
I love he's in the band. Super nice guy and Broderick too.
kiko is a total sweetie, definitely very down to earth

I see I'm pretty much alone in my Poland love.

Nope. I'm a huge fan. What made the original Megadeth lineup the best and most interesting is that Gar and Chris didn't really belong there. They brought fucked up jazz ideas into the band. Subsequent lineups have been more orthodox metal and not as interesting. That said, the band has never had anything but excellent players.

Start @ 1:17 to skip the nonsense.

Marty is just so fucking good man....so unique. Poland's stuff is just meh..... a bunch of notes:shrug:

Ok. I knew Poland was amazing but I had no idea his solo was that complex in Peace Sells. Jeez.
Back then that definitely would have been a big deal for his time.

IMO the best guitarist Megadeth has ever had is Mustaine. His lead playing isn't up there technically with his supporting cast, but outside of Marty dominating on RIP Dave's leads have always been the more ferocious and all around interesting-to-listen-to.
